This vehicle comes complete with a comprehensive history file and spare keys, underscoring its well-documented past.
What truly sets this car apart is its remarkable condition—there is absolutely no evidence of rust, rot, or any previous welding beneath the vehicle, nor is any work required. The paintwork shows no signs of rust bubbles, and the chrome remains in outstanding shape, ensuring a superb first impression.
With just 57, 893 genuine miles on the clock (92, 630 kilometres), the XJ6 drives exactly as one would expect from such a well-preserved classic, maintaining strong oil pressure, running cool, and delivering ample power. The automatic gearbox has recently been professionally reconditioned and now operates flawlessly.
This is an ideal candidate for long-term ownership. If rustproofed, the car could easily last another 50 years, making it a superb modern classic. It is also eligible for free road tax, adding further appeal.
Offered at £14, 950, the vehicle will include a new MOT and four brand new tyres, as the current tyres are aged and due for replacement.
